Food You Should Avoid Eating If You Want To Live A Long And Healthy Life

Did you know that some foods could harm you? These foods are deadly if consumed in excess. Foods:

1.Cassava

Cassava that has been cooked correctly is healthy to consume. It emits cyanide in its unprocessed form. By boiling the cassava first and then marinating it, cyanide consumption can be prevented.

A variety of edible tuberous root called cassava is often ground into flour. The cyanogenic glycosides in cassava can cause fatal cyanide poisoning if they are not sufficiently detoxified by soaking, drying, and scraping the root before consumption. Bread is commonly made from the cassava plant’s root. Severe cyanide poisoning cases linked to cassava are much less prevalent than they once were.

2. Hotdogs

beef. Hot dogs shouldn’t be offered to young children under the age of three because they resemble the oesophagus. Hot dogs should either not be served to toddlers or be chopped up. Numerous diseases are brought on by it.

Cherry seeds contain prussic acid, or cyanide as it is also called. The intact pits will travel through your body and emerge from the other end, so even if you swallow one, you don’t need to worry. When consuming cherries, cherry seeds should be avoided.

4 .Cashews

It’s conceivable that urushiol exists in uncooked peanuts.

Cashews must be roasted because of the presence of urushiol in them. Like mangoes, cashews also have oil on the outside of their shells, but roasting cashews at high temps can get rid of any oil that might have seeped inside the kernel.

5. Ackee
