The Ecowas Fashion Week 2013 team is currently getting preparing for the upcoming world-class fashion week scheduled to kick off on the 2nd of October, 2013. Registrations are flowing in from Designers from various parts of the world cutting across several fashion genre. Fashion Designers, Jewelries, Shows, Accessories, Bags, even Artists.

OBJECTIVES OF ECOWAS FASHION WEEK
To revive the African culture through fashion
To promote the dignity of womanhood.
To open new windows of business opportunities.
To encourage indigenous fashion designers.
To redefine fashion shows by showcasing other fashion accessories.
Encouraging the exportation of local designs in the region

Africa is about to be hit by an epoch-making fashion event if what we are hearing is anything to go by. According to reliable sources, plans for ECOWAS Fashion Week 2013 is currently in the pipeline and the event will not only benefit ECOWAS countries, but the continent as well.

is an idea whose time has come and we must give credit to those behind this great venture.
The  president of ECOWAS his excellency Kadre Desire Quedraogo from Burkina Faso has a vision and when he took over he made it clear that his tenure will focus on sme’s and the youth who are the life wire of any great economy. With this fashion week, organisers are looking forward to put our youth to work through out the ecowas region thereby preventing these urge by youth to go to western world even if they die doing it.

Designers’ Application Form for ECOWAS FASHION WEEK 2013: 2-5 October 2013

Group A Designer = 4 Designers in a group showcasing up to 15 clothes each.
Group B Designer = 2 Designers in a group showcasing up to 30 clothes each.
Group C Designer* = 1 Designer showcasing up to 50 clothes.
Bonus* – Gets to showcase also at the Gala Dinner on the Grand Finale Day
